I am using the EWS to setup authentication to a windows domain controler.

By going to Settings -> Security -> Access Control and then selecting the 'Setup' link on the row with 'Windows'.

I enter the appropriate windows domain, put in the attributes to use, and when I test the account I get the error:

"The credentials are not valid. Check the user name and password"

However when I look at the logs on the domain controller, there is no login failure. I can see that a kerberos pre-auth token has been successfully issued for that user to the printer. So from a domain controller perspective, the authentication succeeded.

I also ran a packet capture when attempting the test and can see the kerberos AS-REQ and AS-REP but then the printer never talks to the domain controller again after that. I would have either expected the printer to take the AS-REP as a success or expected to see a TGS-REQ or something else happen after the kerberos authentication ticket was issued.

I need assistance getting the printer to successfully connect to the domain controller to authenticate users.
