Hi,
the following issue occurs: My Laptop shuts down without warning at about 50% battery level while not connected to power. Just black screen and doesnt start unless i connect the power again. (So I figured the battery is broken...but:
I use a HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-4104ng - Prod. No. K3D43EA#ABD - Windows 10 64-bit.
The charging process from 50% to 100% takes the same time as it always did and the time the laptop runs from 100% to 50% is regular (takes a few hours).
I did the HP Battery Check it says battery is ok - Cycle coutner: 579 / 1000
I tried the manual calibration as recommendend by HP https://support.hp.com/de-de/document/c04726319 / https://support.hp.com/ph-en/document/c04700771
a) Anybody has an idea why my laptop still shuts down at 50% - my guess is a broken battery which would fit the symptoms (and the fact that my warranty ran out just a few months ago 😉 ) ?
b) If my battery is dead (for whatever reason) is the cause the battery itself or could it be the charger?
Thanks for your help.
