Hello,
I have just bought the HP 24f display as an external monitor for my laptop (LENOVO-Z40-70).
The problem is, I get the "input signal not found" when it is connected.
With the monitor on, if I plug the HDMI into either the monitor or the laptop the monitor recognizes that some connection was established, by flashing the error message on the screen. This occurs even if the monitor has gone to standby.
I know it is not a problem with the connection, nor the hardware, since I dual boot on this laptop and using Ubuntu I have no issues when using the monitor ( same laptop, same monitor, same cable).
I have update all drivers associated with video and monitor.
For the monitor drivers I have tried updating the generic windows PnP driver and I've downloaded and installed the HP 24f drivers. No luck with either ( doing the all the steps of having everything disconnected, installing the driver, restarting the computer, checking that the driver is installed, then repluging everything.)
Are there any other steps I can take?
I appreciate any responses.
I run Windows 10 Education edition if that is relevant.
