Product: Pavilion x360
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

The screen suddenly went black a few days ago. The problem is with the display since it works with an external display. Even the touch screen works. Looking through other answers, figured out the the problem is with the backlight of the screen.
