Product: Envy

The power button is stuck on our HP Envy.  I see other postings about this issue. It is out of warranty (1.75 years) .  

HP Support said will cost over $300 to repair.  Best Buy cannot estimate the repair cost because they have to send it out.

 

This is an expensive repair relative to the cost of the computer, which was $530. 

 

I am thinking of taking it to a local computer repair shop, but have to admit being frustrated by this problem and the cost to solve it.

 

If anyone has any suggestions, I would be very interested to hear.
