Product: Samsung CLX-6260 Color Laser Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Unknown

I have the Samsung CLX-6260FW printer and one evening it began to make clicking noises, the power button LED flashing on then off, and I can hear a clicking noise in the back of the machine. I powered the switch off, and even removed the power cord and I continued to hear the clicking noise of the printer for awhile longer. Eventually, the clicking noise stopped.


All signs point to a power issue, as I would figure.


Plug in, power switch on, clicking noise happens. Power off, clicking noise continues. Unplug power cord, clicking noise continues. Clicking continues for about the next 15-25 seconds.


Does someone have an idea what is wrong? The machine had otherwise been functioning swimmingly with no issues, until suddenly one night. Would love to get this working again, and I am savvy enough to deconstruct/reconstruct most machines.
