We have already lost the ability to send scans to gmail (Google withdrew support for SSL/TLS 1.0 some time ago). Now Microsoft Office 365 is warning us that "As announced previously (most recently MC152261 in October 2018), TLS1.0 and TLS1.1 are no longer supported in Office 365 as of October 2018. Customers should no longer be using TLS1.0 and TLS1.1 to connect to Exchange Online. While no date has been set, we are working towards setting a date for their removal from the service. If either were found to be compromised before then, we would have no choice but to expedite their removal from Exchange Online. You are receiving this message because our reporting indicates that your organization is still using one of those unsupported TLS versions to connect to Exchange Online. Mailboxes are still connecting using SMTP Auth client submission via smtp.office365.com with TLS1.0 or TLS1.1. Action must be taken to update or replace any clients or devices that are not using TLS1.2 as they will be unable to send messages after Office 365 disables TLS1.0."
Ours is a HP LaserJet 400 color MFP M475dw
Come on HP. Update the firmware to address these urgent security issues. There are evidently lots of people in the same situation. We all paid a premium price to have HP kit, and we will remember for future purchases if you fail to deliver.
