HP 14-dk0933nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently bought a new laptop with a Ryzen mobile CPU and 8GB of RAM. By default it reserves 2GB of system memory for the integrated GPU. This means I go from 8GB to 6GB of usable memory, which is less than ideal. I specifically got this laptop because it has 8GB of RAM, and only being able to use 6GB of it is quite disappointing.

Since I will never be using 2GB of VRAM and more memory can be allocated dynamically anyway, I would like to change this value to something lower (like 256MB as per AMD recommendations). The relevant option would be the UMA framebuffer size, but it's missing from the BIOS (in both the version that came with my device and the most recent BIOS from the HP support site). Is there any other way to change this setting? If not, would it be possible to add this option to a future BIOS version?

Other than this issue I'm very satisfied with this laptop so far.
