Product: HP LaserJet 4300
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have my HP LaserJet 4300 set up as a network printer. I have used it with numerous PCs running all versions of Windows through Windows 7.

 

When I tried installing it automatically under Windows 10, the printer driver is not found. I assume it does not exist, so I used the generic "Microsoft PCL 6 class driver" instead. But this does not understand the print hardware, so I can't enable duplex printing.

 

When I tried installing it using the "HP Smart app" under Windows 10, but the printer is not located properly. I even supplied the correct IP address (10.0.0.15), and that did not work either.

 

I hope there is a way to get full functionality of the HP 4300 under Windows 10 ...
