Hello, I need to scan without using the document feeder, just by placing the document on the scan directly.

While this never was a problem, it is now. This function no longer works, HP easy scan return error message "Automatic Document Feeder is Empty". "No items were detected in the Automatic Document Feeder. Please place your originals into the Automatic Document Feeder and start the scan again."

I am using an Imac iOS V 10.15
