Hi Paul.  I too have been struggling to get Win10 updates for my  2 year old HP Spectre x360 Convertable 13-ae0xx.  Feel a bit let down by HP who have not updated the 'customised' driver for Intel UHD 620 Graphics driver since May 2018.  I'd like to try your suggestion to install the latest Intel driver.  It won't install as you point out using exe file.  Can you please provide instructions for installing using the zip file?  Many thanks.
