HP Envy 5530
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have tried to scan a document  with HP Envy 5530 and the printer makes no sound and the screen just loops eventually saying "scanner communication cannot be established" - recommends HP Print and Scanner Doctor - I ran it checking for scanner and it comes up with driver check - I followed the instruction and it came up with same issue. Previously I had followed instructions to completely remove all HP software and drivers and it would not remove the driver as it said it was "in use". Can anyone help?
