I have an HP EliteBook 735 G6 with SureView (all latest drivers and BIOS have been installed and checked with the HP Image Assistant!), but it seems that the "enable privacy setting" only lowers the brightness of the screen. In other words, when my brightness of the screen is already low, "enabling SureView" has no effect (fn+f2), other than changing the existing brightness (and fn+p doesn't even work). Thus there is no "turning the privacy screen on or off". The only effect of turning the privacy screen on, is a limited upper brightness.
The end result is a screen that is a horror to look at, let alone for multiple hours.
