I am attempting to adjust and save a scan profile/short-cut/preset that is used when scanning to computer from the printer control panel. The user manual states that this can be done by opening the HP Printer Software "Windows 10: From the computer desktop, click the Start button, click All apps, select HP, and then select the icon with the printer name." Doing this no longer launches the HP Printer Software, but instead launches the Device Setup and Software app that only allows me to add a new device or change wireless settings. Nothing like the software described in the manual.
I have the most recent full HP software bundle installed. I see nothing in the HP Smart app, the HP Scan and Capture app nor the HP Print and Scan Doctor app that provides access to scanning shortcuts.
How do I now change and save scan short-cut parameters; e.g., resolution and destination PDF quality?
If there is no longer a way, is there some other approach that will allow me to individually scan pages from the glass plate and generate a multiple-page PDF on a networked computer?
