I've noticed that when a color cartridge is empty, but the other color cartridges are NOT empty but are low, after I replace the empty color (in this case Cyan) the printer tells me I must replace the other color cartridges, even though they are not yet empty, or I can't print! This is a total money-making scam by HP to force you to buy more ink. There seems no way around this. This happens every time so I am sure it is not just me. Multiply this by millions of users and the numbers add up, this is clearly a scam and legally actionable (class action).
Really dumb to make your customers angry to make a little more money. I will be getting a new printer that is not HP, because this happens every time and is adding up.
