Product: Pavilion 15-AU Laptop
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Pavilion 15-AU laptop that is about 4 years old , obviously out of warranty.  Recently it was noticed that the keyboard was becoming distorted, a definite bulge over the battery.  Upon disassembly of the laptop to see why the bulge, I found the battery to have quite the swelling, no longer flat.

 

 I proceeded to check if this battery was one previously recalled, but it is not.

 

How can this bulging battery issue be resolved?
