Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The computer display brightness automatically changes when switching between applications (ex. PDF reader, Microsoft Word, VLC media player). I am running Windows 10 with latest updates and display driver up to date. There is no option to turn off adaptive display in advanced power settings or in display settings (see screenshots below). How to turn off adaptive brightness?
