Hi community.
Since some month (problem was not there initially, perhaps it came with an update), I have stable or flickering small black squares on my laptop screen, sometimes stable, sometimes flickering. When moving the mouse, the dots change position. Normally, it seems they are local to windows, means the dots keep the position inside the moving window. The issue is particularly visible in IE, Edge, but also MS Word etc). When reducing the size of windows, the underlying desktop window does not show the pixel problem. It also seems that the task manager application does not have this effect.
I have run the HP support application and all HP driver updates have been installed. Bios is at latest version. Also there are no windows updates pending. I have run the display diagnostic tool (extended mode) and it gave no issues.
For me, it really seems that the problem is local to the video management of certain applications.
Do you have any clue that could help me solving this issue?
