Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Please, can anyone advise, is there a working "downgrade" to 1828A firmware for the 8610? Is there a way to uninstall and reset printer to factory settings and get rid of the dynamic security feature? I almost ruined my printer thinking something was wrong with the printhead due to the "ink failure" and "printer failure" errors. [edit] Has anyone successfully overriden the latest firmware update? Please reply. Many thanks!
