I have been using OfficeJet 8710 for a couple years and it stop working after I swap the connection from wifi to ethernet (need to move the printer to a different room). I follow this https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Software-and-Drivers/HP-Officejet-Pro-8710-unable-to-get-it-to... and still not able to print, even a test page.
My desktop and this printer are in the same subnetwork. My desktop is connected thru wifi to the router, while the printer connected thru ethernet to the same router. The router has the same configuration as when the printer was working before. I can see the complete printer status from a browser pointing to the printer ip address. I did check the printer driver properties, and it has the same ip address in the location box of general tab.
Running the troubleshooting feature from the printer driver says: Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem. Viewing the detailed troubleshooting information shows one issues: Problem with printer detected. But I can see the printer from the browser.
Need help urgently!
