Hi, 

I've had to replace the hard drive in my laptop, and have tried to install the appropriate wireless adapter drivers from the  following link as the laptop currently has no wifi:

neither of the 2 wireless drivers will install, getting as far as the install screen and then simply stops and disappears. Currently have no way of connecting the laptop to the internet other than wireless so can't just do a windows update or anything. I've also tried to contact hp but can't get contact options as apparently my serial number isn't valid. I'm not sure what to try next...

Thanks for any help I'm at a bit of a loss
