I have an HP3630 printer which was connected to my network. I changed my IPS and tried to connect to the network, but for some reason it failed to connect. I uninstalled the printer software and deleted the printer in devices, I then installed the printer as a new printer. It shows in devices and I can now print wirelessly but if I click on the printer icon to scan a document, an add new printer box appears. If I add a printer, it installs another HP3630 printer and I lose the ability to print. I have tried running HP print and scan doctor, I have followed all the instructions but it does not resolve the issue. The printer is on the network as I have instant ink and it connects to the printer and indicates how many pages I have left. I have gone into services and made sure that image acquisition is set to auto and if I use the windows scan option the printer scans.
How can I get the HP scan function to work.
