LaserJetPro MFP M176n
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone,

My LaserJetPrinter MPF M176n (LAN connection) does not print anymore since the June 2020 update.

No improvement with the July 2020 update.

My version right now is ‘Windows 10, Version 2004, build 19041.388’.

Whenever I attempt to print, the print job appears in the print queue and disappears quickly. But the scanner works.

Yes, the ‘spooler’ service is started and set to ‘automatic’.

It doesn’t crash when I start a print job.

‘HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.3.1’ shows no failure.

No page printed after ‘test page printout’.

But one page printed after ‘internal test page printout’ (?).

This utility recommended to uninstall-reinstall the HP software , which I did, of course with the latest version.

No result. Also tried with Microsoft generic drivers.

The ‘Windows 10 printer troubleshooting utility’ reports nothing abnormal.

The problem does not appear with another computer in my home without this June update.

I can also print using my Android phone.

So certainly not an hardware issue.

Very time consuming and frustrating.

Has anyone an idea how to solve this?

Kind regards,

Mat
