My network disappears time to time. By "network disappears", I mean when I click on the Wi-Fi icon in the system tray, it only shows "Network and Internet Settings". Available Wi-Fi networks disappear. When I go to Device Manager, I cannot see "Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265". So, updating driver software through Device Manager as well as any other solutions I have found online and in this community are not possible.
When this happens, I restart my pc in the hope that it will be solved. But after a couple of restarts, I get Blue Screen of Death.
This has happened quite a few times. So, I had even clean-installed Windows 10 quite a few times. But now I have realized that keeping my pc shut for about half an hour and turning it back on solves the problem on itself. I can see my device in Device Manager again and I can connect to Wi-Fi networks again.
This has put me in trouble time and again. Is this a sign of a failing hardware? My pc is just a couple of years old. Can a hardware component fail so early?
