Product: HP Notebook - 15-bw011dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
My son's laptop built in camera does not work and it is reallly affecting his virtual school Any help will be much appreciated.
I have spent 2 hours going through communities, HP self assisstant, drivers, BIOS update ...without much success.
- Camera App says "0xA00F4244 ,NoCamerasAreAttached>"
- Device manager had Camera under hidden devices, but it was greyed out
- i uninstalled the Camera, and now have been able to get it back in Device Manager
- I went to HP drivers download, found whole list for my product - not one says camera or webcam driver
- Did a BIOS update and restarted, still no luck
- tried virtual assistant, which pointed me to built-in HP assistant, who did nothing also
- Only thing have not tried is MS Windows refresh, i dont know when the camera was working....i know it was working though
Anyone know which of the listed drivers is for the builtin webcam ? Been reading a lot of threads with similar issues, but so far no luck.
Please help.
