Product: Officejet 7310 all-in-one
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

After an OS upgrade to my MacBook Pro to the latest Catalina 10.15.7, everytime I try to print (either.pdf or Word), I get a failure with the message "Stopped - 'Filter' failed, 1 page

 

I tried a printer reset and also, when that didn't resolve it, I downloaded a new driver and installed it.   No resolution.   What am I missing ?   Would appreciate some help.  Thanks in advance.
