I'm having on-and-off issues while scanning.  Printing is fine.  Printer is connected to router with ethernet cable.  Laptop is on wi-fi.  Running Windows10.  I do a lot of scanning but sometimes everything just stops.  No more scanning - telling me there's no connection, but I can print....  I've uninstalled many times, reinstalled every time, with some short lived joy.  But now I'm unable to scan using the HP Printer Assistant interface.  It takes/scans the first page then stops, waits awhile and cancels the scanning.  I am able to scan using the SmartPrint app, but it doesn't give me all the options I want ito quality, background clean-up etc etc.  What else can I try?
