Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Laptop will not boot up. Black screen, flashing capslock key.  I have tried all the options of pressing the power-on button with no battery, etc.  Nothing changes.  I tried holding the Windows key and B key while powering up with no battery and just the power adapter plugged in.... didn't produce any new results.  I read where an expired CMOS battery could be the problem; I removed the CR2032 battery and replace it with a new battery.... no change.   It appears the MB has either a solder problem within the board, or possibly a Graphics chip problem.  I have not been able to find what a "blinking caps lock" key (every 5 seconds)  is indicating.  Does anyone know the answer?
