Dear community,

before I start, please excuse my bad English. I hope you understand what I am trying to get help on. I am totally frustrated by setting up scan to email with the HP Smart App and my printer HP Officejet Pro 8730. Everything works fine. I can print, copy and was able to set up the printer in HP Smart App. But when I want to set up scan to email in advanced settings in HP Smart App he asks me for a password. The username "admin" is already preset. I was squeezing google and this community pretty hard and all I found out was, that the password should be on the type label on the back of the printer. There are all sorts of information on that label but nothing close to a password. I tried every alphanumeric-combination printed on that label. I also semi-full reseted the printer twice with no success. Now the last two informations I found in the internet were (1) HP doesn't have a password just leave it blank -> that didn't work (2) Ask your printer administrator for the password -> there is no printer administrator, just me!

Please help. I use HP printers since the beginning I needed a printer and never had issues installing them or to get scan to email work...

Really need help!!!
