HP Recommended
Spectre x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Someone mentioned that their HP Spectre notebook had a constantly blinking white led light next to where the ac adapter plugs in. The issue had already been answered with an accepted answer that did not solve the users question, so I am re-asking it here in the forum to give a better answer that is approved by HP (I found it on their support site). I have the same problem. It's not the adapter, and my battery check passes when I run the HP utility. However, when I look at the advanced information, I can see that one of my three battery cells is at zero charge. When I looked through the forums here, people mentioned some troubleshooting steps such as uninstalling drivers and uninstalling the battery. I can't uninstall the battery, and the other person that had the same issue tried all the other trouble-shooting steps. Here's what I found, though, HP says if the white LED light that is next to the AC adapter is blinking, it's a battery problem. So, presumably you would need to take your computer in to have your battery swapped if you have an integrated battery that can't be user-removed.

here is the link to the HP support article that mentions this. It's in the first paragraph.
