Scanning, Faxing & Copying

WOW - not sure how to start this post - i have the EXACT SAME QUESTION that is in numerous other posts but the admin has locked them because of the amount of time that someone has responded/posted - one was in the last week with still no solution.

I CAN'T SCAN WITHOUT SIGNING INTO CLOUD SERVICES!!!

I have read "suggestions" from HP admins and moderators and then read dozens of post where it doesn't work and then a post with the same suggestion.

1.  When I go to the HP website for the "full" software it directs me to the app store - already done that.

2.  App always asks to sign into cloud services - this is what I DON'T WANT TO DO.

3.  I work often without internet in remote locations - I need to scan without internet - doesn't work.

4.  Has anyone come up with a solution - I will even entertain buying a different brand of printer as long as I can scan without any cloud services.

5.  Is anyone at HP listening - if your post doesn't work - have you actually tried your own solution - why would it work for you and not the numerous others that say that it doesn't.

6.  How can you create a printer that continuously prompts me to buy your products (ink services, etc.) but can't function as advertised.  I would buy more of your stuff if it worked.

7.  Is anyone really out there?

I have an imac (27 inch) running 11.2.1 (which isn't even an option in this forum) 

and a HP ENVY 7855 - oh and buy the way the website says there is a new firmware available for my printer - but it doesn't work either.

Scanning - one of the main simple functions of an all in one printer.  Please make it work WITHOUT CLOUD SERVICES
