Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My keyboard's keys aren't giving out the right outputs. Three keys(so far) I know are affected, a(giving out ctrl a outputs), ctrl(giving out ctrl tab outputs), and tab(also giving out ctrl tab outputs.). (I'm using a pasted a to type this.) 
I don't know whether this is hardware or software-related, and I've already tried updating the device, updating drivers, and restarting the device, to no avail. This has happened once before but then it was fixed by restarting the device.
