I have the same problem.  Answers to TEJ1602's questions:-

Windows 7

Don't know (I have the latest BT router so whatever that is.)

About  3 metres but since it was working previously I can't see that the distance has anything to do with it.

Yes, McAfee as supplied by BT with the broadband.

 

The printer (HP Envy 6020) is only two months old and was working okay previously but now only works with a wired connection.  It is still under warranty and I want this fixed or my money back.
