Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.
HP Recommended
Chrome OS

I tried to move my printer to the office from home.

I was initially able to access EWS to do a factory reset as some instructions recommended. After that, I have not been able to access EWS (Not allowed) or get the printer added through ChromeOS or with the Smartapp on my Android phone.

The Wifi direct network is not showing. I can see a "HP Setup" network. Even when logged to that I still can't access EWS. On that network I can find the printer on the Smart app, but I can't connect it to any network, the list stays empty. And on the regular network I can't find the printer at all.

I have done all the possible resets I have found with no luck. Everything should be ready on the printer side, but nothing works. Wireless is on but not connected. Status is "waiting for a wireless connection".

Wi-fi Direct Setup is disabled and no reset or any other instruction has helped me find a way to enable it again.

I have no IP for the printer, it is not configured.

Previously the only thing that has worked has been to open the smart app with a new device that has not been connected to the printer before. But I don't have any more devices, I have used them all. And for some reason uninstalling and reinstalling the smart app and the HP print plugin have no effect on this.

Any ideas on what to do next?
