Product: Pavilion dv7
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
My laptop is a DV7-4272US Product id XZ293UAR#ABA. It has windows 7 64-bit running on it. The bios is corrupt and since I've replaced the harddrive, recovery using the keyboard key press doesn't work. I obtained a bios file but when I try to run it I to make a recovery usb, I get this error: IHISI: Get support mode fail in Smi.
Bios did not support InsydeFlash.
I'm running this on a Pavilion desktop computer that has Windows 10. Like my laptop, the harddrive has been
replaced.
What can I do to solve this?
