Hi Everyone!

I just got a Hp Elitebook 1040 G6 laptop and installed a PrimeOS software to enable me use a android simulator. After running it, I entered this problem on restart of the system. It starts up to the screen that shows "Protected by HP Sure Start" then goes to the screen for Power-On Authentication. Here it fails to recognize my finger print and password both. And only gives options to shut down and restart. This is the loop it is stuck in.

Please can anyone assist in guiding me how get past this power up authenticator screen so that system can go to the boot stage and I can then disable power authentication or do even a recovery to normalise my system? I have tried the solution given by the virtual assistant in HP support assistant app (solutions given are for G1 and G2 models only, no G6 solution yet) but it didn't work. Does anyone know the key combination for G6 model? Or is there any other way out? Thanks for your help in advance!
