HP LaserJet Pro M15w

Printer was working great.  I had just printed some documents. (This printer has been used VERY lightly, and is usually unplugged and stored in a closet.  I plug it in when I need it, then unplug and put it away when I'm finished using it.)  I noticed the firmware update from March 2021 on HP's website because I like to keep all software, drivers and firmware up-to-date for security reasons.  I had not updated the firmware since I bought it.  So I decided to update the firmware from HP's website using the file for a HP LaserJet Pro M15w named HP_LaserJet_Pro_M14w_M17w_Firmware_Update_20201013.  The firmware update ran fine to completion with no errors.  After updating the firmware, the power light blinks continuously and nothing works.  It will not even communicate with a computer over a USB cable.  I have tried everything posted on HP web sites, including the scan doctor.  I have tried using a iMAC and a PC.  Nothing works.  HP appears to have ruined a perfectly good printer with this firmware update.  This printer has probably printed less than 50 pages since I bought it new.  Now, of course, it's out of warranty.  Any help that solves this is welcome.  Thanks.
