So I want to install the drivers for my HP LaserJet M1136 MFP on my MacBook Air M1. Firstly the driver's were not available on the MacBook, so i went to the HP support site and looked for the drivers there. It told me to download the HP Easy Start software like you can see on attachment 1:
Once the software was downloaded it guided me through some steps and finally showed me this message. attachment 2:
Ater this, i followed the instructions on the site and installed the HP app. Once i open the app, it tells me to set up a new print/device and i follow the steps given. It tells me to select the mode of connection, and since my printer only supports USB printing, i choose USB printing, but the app is not able to detect the printer no matter what, and finally shows this prompt. Attachment 3:
I ve followed all the steps just like the YouTube video guide by HP shows and what the website and the support apo have instructed me to, but i am still not able to find the appropriate drivers for my printer. Please help me out and please look into why is this happening ASAP. Thank you.
P.S. I saw a similar question asked on the forum earlier which told me to do the same thing and as you can see ut didn't work out.
