I have a HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14m-cd0xxx laptop that is 2.5 years old. One month after my warranty expired the screen became dislodged in the bottom right hand corner. I have had to open and close it for transport and it is deteriorating more every time i close/open the top. At first I was able to pop it back in and hold it together as I opened it but now it will no longer pop back in and the screen has cracked and is chipping away more and more with every open/close.
The problem gets worse the wider I open the laptop. The laptop was not dropped, it always travels in a cushioned laptop sleeve and I have never used the 360 function. I need this laptop for work, volunteer projects, and general personal use.
How do I go about getting this fixed? Is the repair more expensive than replacing with a new laptop? This is very disheartening because I had my last laptop for over 8 years with 0 hardware issues. It seens this is a common and known issue and sounds like a manufacturing defect. Can someone from HP please advise a solution? Thank you.
