When I've done a search in the community for my question, I see that others have asked this in the past. But no one has provided the exact steps used to solve the issue. So here's the question again.
I have a Color Laserjet Pro MFP M182nw printer with an LCD screen (not touch screen). I'm trying to connect my printer to wifi, but the manual for this model incorrectly tells me to press the wifi button (which I do) then select "settings" (that is not an option) then choose the "wireless setup wizard." Like others before me, I am here to tell you that that IS NOT WIRELESS SETUP WIZARD. The HP Smart app is installed on my phone and laptop, and both devices are connected to my wifi network. Once that is done, you are supposed to follow the prompts in the HP smart ap. But it won't connect to the printer. Can't even find my printer.
So what do I do? I've scrolled through the entirety of the menu, and there is no help. I've cycled through the power several times, I've even done a factor reset of the printer. Still won't connect. I'm about ready to toss this thing agaoinst a brick wall.
