I bought a HP Stream 14 laptop (N3060) september 2019. It was some kind of surplus but brand new and under normal brand new product warranty by seller. HP support by serial number says however out of warranty in august 2019. (Laptop is 2018 model).
Straight out of box my HP Stream worked well and battery lasted 10 hours.
Now the battery is for no reason bulged wery badly and because of that it pressures/distrubs touch pad and keyboard.
The bulging started few months ago and was first wery mild but now my HP Stream is practically broken.
I opened bottom screws and the battery is like balloon.
I can use the laptop because the bottom plate screws are off and thus battery doesn't put pressure to keyboard and touch pad but i'm not happy.
This is second my HP laptop that has bulged battery in about 2 years use - the first was HP MINI 1099eg.
I was hoping there could be a HP Recall for this laptop (because bulging battery) but no avail.
Can I use this laptop until i buy a new one or is bulging battery dangerous.
For HP mini HP said 2011 that bulging battery is no problen ...
