Hi,
Since a few days my hp 850G6 Notebook (bought in Switzerland) has no Internet connection when connecting to a WiFi hotspot. Other devices on the same hotspot do have Internet connection. Same situation also with an other hotspot. However, when connecting via WiFi to the Modem/Rooter at home the NoteBook has Internet access without any problem.
Observations:
1) The Notebook does connect to the hotspot, but does not obtain Internet access.
2) Under "Settings* the Newtwork Status says (something like): "You have Internet connection", but written in red colour.
3) Sometime the situation changes and all information indicate that there is access to the Internet, but in reality there is no access.
4) The Network Diagnostics indicates problem no. 310 (no ping)
Could it be related to the driver? While searching for possible reasons I found "somewhere" that the original WLAN driver was apparently from INTEL but that it has been repaced by one from Windows??? Unfortunately I did not make a screenshot from this diagnostics information, and I do not remember on which Web page from hp I could make this test.
Has anyone "out there" a proposition on how to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Best regards
