I reinstalled Windows 11 - 64bit (Clean install) After the software programs and tools, it was time to install my HP Envy 4522. To do this, I loaded and installed the current Installpack (EN4520_Full_WebPack_1122). Printer integrated via WLAN. Now I have the following problems in the settings:
1. No color can be selected any more. Actually there is this menu item because the printer can print in color, the cartridges are OK
2. Duplex printing is only possible manually, first page 1, rotate sheet, then page 2 WLAN connected correctly, so the manual is no further information I uninstalled the printer via software on the first attempt and cleaned the registry on the second attempt. Then printer reinstalled, but no change. I think that I have had the problem with the old computer, but somehow managed to get it done, which was a bit ago because I have had the Win10 PC for a few years. I read on the net that the HP software should not run 100% ??
Can anyone confirm this or have similar problems? The system control driver is also identified as a universal driver from Microsoft, which is also the case with the old system. I would like to print Dublex automatically because the printer can do it and would like to have my prints in color and use the printer with the new Windows 11 PC and not via my Android device. It can't be due to Windows 11 either. The printer is good. and does not need to be repaired. Is used yes. I hope for tips that use something, because it works somehow? But not via HP's own installation software.
