Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I moved and have a new internet service and new router / WiFi network. I cannot connect the printer to the WiFi network. I have both the 5G and the 2.4G networks active and the printer can see neither of them. It can see the WiFi networks of about twenty of my neighbors, but not mine. I even tried connecting with  the printer sitting less than one foot away from the router.  (I can’t keep it there because it’s in the middle of a hallway.) I have restarted the router and the printer. I was able to turn on and use WiFi Direct (but that’s incredibly impractical). I’ve also been able to print by connecting to the router using an Ethernet cable, so the router and the printer are working fine.

Why won’t the printer see the WiFi network??   please help!
