So I am fairly sure I already know the answer after looking around. I honestly don't understand why they would not implement a BIOS level Battery Limit on all laptops, and instead only for gaming laptops which will be plugged in 24/7 regardless.
Does anyone have any good software to use that could lock a laptops battery charge to a certain percentage? My office space has become more limited, and I found that I can use my laptop as a sudo monitor with the use of a 3rd party tool, but I don't want the battery plugged in 24/7 and having to monitor the battery level all day is pretty tedious. I may just pull the battery out until I need it for a trip which is not all the often, but I probably wouldn't bother looking at a HP again in another year when I would go to upgrade if that's the case and another manufacture has an implantation on all models.
