I bought my hp pavilion - 15-cw1598sa (Product number: 6TD28EA) in 2020 however my laptop battery has now stopped working properly and needs replacing. I sent my laptop off to curry's where I bought it originally to have the battery replaced but they did not have the part and I can't find the exact part that I need on the hp parts store. My warranty has now expired with HP so I could not send it off.The battery that I need is a 3-cell 41Whr lithium ion battery but I can only find either 4 cell batteries or 3 cell batteries with higher Whr on the hp parts store.
The closest battery I found was a third party Dell 3 cell 42Whr li-ion battery but I don't know if it's safe to use a 42Whr rather than 41Whr battery or a battery from a different manufacturer?
On the hp store I found a "3-cell lithium-ion, 31Wh" battery and "3-cell lithium-ion 46Wh" would either of these be compatible?
