Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have an HP stream, just recently upgraded to windows 11. Every now and again the screen flickers with lines, some appear to be green in colour going across and then it stops. Sometimes if I just touch the screen lid it stops. I have my computer hooked to a monitor the flickering does not show up on the monitor. I cannot recall if the flickering was there prior to upgrading to Windows 11. I keep my computer power cord plugged in all the time and when not using the computer I put it in sleep mode. Thanks in advance for any help on this issue.
