Hi,

I just had a problem to turn on the laptop. It seems to be solved but I'd like to understand what caused the problem and if I should do something now to prevent this issue.

Possible cause: I use an USB hub where I also plug in few external HDDs. Last time I plugged off all the powers and then shut down the Windows. The HDD made beep noise as it did not got the power and windows did not want to shutdown. After I turned on the power, it could shut down normally.

Next time, the laptop did not want to turn on: when pressing power button for short or about up till 5 sec nothing happened. I plugged in the power cable and the yellow light for charging was on. Eventually, after pressing the power button for about 30 sec, the lights for power button + shift (or caps lock, I'm not sure) turned on for short. Afterwards, after shortly pressing the power button I could normally boot into windows (btw I use dual boot with Ubuntu). Note that battery was around 60 % so it was not issue with it.

I'll also try the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics but maybe you have any other advice?

Thank you.
