We have several HP Elitebook 830/840 G8 each of them connected to an HP USB-C Dock Station G5. In a good amount of them, the usb mouse and keyboard connected to the dock station randomly stops responding.
- The dock stations have the latest firmware installed
- Laptops have the latest drivers installed (including the dock station ones)
- Laptops have all the windows updates installed
- If We unplug the dock station from the laptop and plug it again the problem remains
- if We unplug the power cord of the dock station and plug in again the problem remains
- The only way to have it working again is by rebooting the laptop.
Any idea why is this happening in at least four laptops?
