Hi! My HP Envy 360 13" had been working well for more than a year , without any issue. Today, it failed to close and when I looked closely, found that the panel at the bottom near the right hinge was protruding out. When I tried to move the screen back, it protruded even more and suddenly a small screw came out of the bottom of the panel along with a small plastic piece (which was holding it maybe). Moving it back slightly resulted in the screen cracking at the bottom. I am trying to figure out why this happened so suddenly without any warning signs. The computer was working fine for more than a year now, with absolutely no rough use. My earlier HP laptops have lasted me for years and this was so shocking. On browsing the community forum, I find that many customers have had the same issue with the Envy 360 convertibles. Why should such an expensive laptop suddenly malfunction in this manner? Please advise on how to get this rectified.
